Relieved from poverty

Praise the Lord!!

I am happy to share with you the good things the Lord has done in my life. I was born and brought up in Chetpet, Chennai. I suffered so much in poverty that it was hard for me to have atleast one meal a day though I had so many relations around. Without having a home to live, I  lived in platform for many days. So many days I slept in Chetpet Corporation play ground. I neither had a dress to wear nor food to eat. I approached many people seeking help. But disappointment was the only answer. I had a grandmother who was a servant and so  I had passed through many nights eating half a meal that she used to get me from her work place.

As I was a Mary devotee, I used to go to Roman Catholic Church  and I prayed that I should get food to eat. But my poverty still prevailed. At this situation, my friend Saravanan took me to Shekinah Assembly. Till then I did not know who Jesus was. But as days passed by, through Pastor's message I came to know who Jesus really was and I accepted Jesus as my Redeemer. I had a mindset praying to Jesus and Mary was the same but after coming to this Church I learnt that Jesus is the only God and only unto Him I should pray. Since then, my life started changing. God gave me the wisdom to learn construction work. Later I managed to take own contracts and started working. Now many labourers are working under me. I thought I would never get married. But God has blessed me with a good wife and two sons. We also got a land by God's grace. Now we are living a blessed life just by the grace of Jesus. The Bible says "Those who trust in the Lord shall prosper" and I am a witness for the same. You too can taste and see how good the Lord is!!
